The TUSA RS-790 regulator is a high-quality regulator designed specifically for scuba diving. Its first stage regulator is made of marine brass that is chrome plated, and its design is a balanced diaphragm that is environmentally sealed. This means that the internal mechanism is protected from contamination from external elements such as salt, sand, chlorine, or pool acids that can corrode and deteriorate regulator performance.To further enhance the regulator's performance, TUSA has added a dry ambient pressure chamber to prevent water from entering the main spring cavity. This chamber maximizes the regulator's performance in cold water diving conditions below 50 Degree F (10 Degree C).
